TOM UREN PARK

Public BBQ

A big, quiet neighbourhood park at Guildford West with a soccer field, a netball court, an outdoor gym and a swing park for children, plus a great deal of clean, smooth grass that is safe for them to play on. It is relaxed and usually near empty, which is much of the appeal. The whole place is due for an upgrade, though: the playground and the toilets both show their age, and there are not enough lights, which leaves a lot of dark patches across the field after sunset. Dogs are welcome, though not everyone picks up after them.
